ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PORT OF BREMERTON NORTH & SOUTH MONUMENT SITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Port of Bremerton until 3:00 pm PDT on September 22, 2021, for construction of the North & South Monument Site Development Project. No proposals will be accepted after the above-state time. Proposals that are hand delivered or mailed will be accepted at the Port Office located at 8850 SW State Hwy 3, Bremerton, WA 98312. Immediately following the above-stated time, the proposals will be publicly opened and read.
The contract consists of work to be completed within 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (anticipated no later than September 29, 2021), and consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto and generally described as the construction of two design-build sign monuments at two seperate locations at the Port of Bremerton as well as landscaping, electrical connections, and fencing replacement.
Access to bidding information is available through the office of Soundwest Engineering Associates by email request to lswanson@soundwesteng.com (Lauren Swanson). Project addenda will only be issued to plan holders registered with Soundwest by direct email request. Only local exchanges registered with Soundwest will receive project information. Arrangements to visit the project site can be requested by email to lswanson@soundwesteng.com (Lauren Swanson).
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit made payable to the Port of Bremerton, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Contract Documents, the bid deposit/bond shall be forfeited to the Port of Bremerton.
