Port of Bremerton Multipurpose Facility

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received at Port of Bremerton (The Port), until 3:00 pm April 29, 2021, for construction of Port of Bremerton Multipurpose Facility. Bids should be delivered to 8850 SW State Highway 3, Bremerton, WA 98312. No proposals will be accepted after the above-stated time. Immediately following the above-stated time, the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the conference room at the Port of Bremerton 8850 SW State Highway 3, Bremerton, WA 98312.

 

NOTE: April 29, 2021 Public Bid Opening for the Multipurpose Facility, will be held via Zoom. Please see the link to access the Zoom Meeting.

The Bidding Documents, including the engineered plans, specifications for the project and bidding instructions and requirements, can be obtained after 3:00 pm March 29, 2021 from ARC, 2730 Occidental Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134, telephone 206-622-6000. Bidders are solely responsible for insuring the completeness of their bids. Bid Drawings and the Project Manual can be printed and picked up at the above-mentioned address or the documentation can be shipped to bidders at their expense. A Three Hundred Dollar, fully refundable desposit will be paid, by check to the owner prior to printed project documentation receipt. Deposit checks should be hand delivered to ARC prior to or at documentation receipt. The documents can also be viewed and ordered through ARC's Public Plan Room at: http://www.e-arc.com/location/seattle/ . Scroll down and click on link "Enter Public Panroom" and then click on the project number to enter the project. The project number is 2018227.01 and the Project Name is The Port of Bremerton Multipurpose Facility. 

A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 1:00 pm April 12, 2021. The site is located at 8830 SW State Highway 3, Bremerton, WA 98312.

The contract consists of work to be completed within 300 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Scope consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto and generally described as follows:

  • Demolition of existing Airport Diner, site preparation, and construction of a new 9,675 Sq. Ft. multipurpose building to include a diner facility, aircraft hangar, and offices.

The Port of Bremerton reserves the right to accept any proposal deemed to be in the interest of the Port of Bremerton, to waive any minor irregularities in any proposal, to re-solicit for new proposals as deemed necessary by the Port, or not to award any contract at all. If a contract is awarded negotiations will begin with the lowest, qualified bidder.

The Port of Bremerton, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of Secretoary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be affored full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
