Invitation to Bid

Sealed bids for teh Bremerton National Airport- Airfield Lighting, Signage, NAVAIDS, and Electrical Improvements, AIP Project No. 3-53-007-032-2018/-033-2019 will be received by in-person delivery or by courier at the Port of Bremerton, Aiport Administrative Offices located at 8850 SW State Hwy 3, Bremerton, WA 98312, until the bid opening time of 2:00PM, on the 27th of February 2020, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time for opening cannot, and will not be considered.

The scope of work being considered is 1) Add, replace and upgrade runway and taxiway lighting 2) Add, replace and upgrade taxiway signs 3) Replace and upgrade the Precision Approach Pathy Indicator (PAPI) 4) Add supplemental wind cone 5) Replace rotating beacon, remove existing tower and replace with a tip0down pole 6) Replace a generator and add connections to systems 7) Replace and/or install new electrical cables, conduits, constant current regulators, and various electrical components. An optional pre-bid conference will be held at the Bremerton National Airport, 8850 SW State Hwy 3, Bremerton, WA 98312, on February 13, 2020 at 1:00p.m., local time. All bidders and potential subcontractors are encouraged to attend. At this meeting, questions concerning the Contract Documents and the proposed work will be discussed. A tour of the project site will be conducted after the meeting.

This is a prevailing wage project per State and Federal Laws. All labor on the project shall be paid no less than the minimum wage rates established by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries of Davis-Bacon Act, whichever is greater.

This contract will be funded, in part, by a grant from the Fenderal Aviation Administration (FAA). As such, it will be subject to federal requirements.
